The pinky and the brain

October was "Brain Month" in Lillian's Grade 3 class. She was extremely excited to bring a few goodies from home to share with the class.

In this jar is a small (dead) octopus that Lill brought for show and tell to demonstrate how dendrites spread out from the cell body of the neuron.

And here, Lillian is showing our brain model. This is Lillian's skull named Yorick.
