Lillian's first concert

Rock climber

On Saturday, Lillian went to Hyde Park, rode on a train, swam in the pool, went out for spring rolls and later for burritos, and climbed on rocks.

On Sunday, Lillian went out to brunch at a coffee shop and enjoyed drinking her drink from a straw and indulging in a chocolate croissant.

In preparation for our trip to New York City, Lillian spent this past Sunday assembling her new umbrella stroller.

On Saturday, Lillian and Bibi played in the Allen Garden's playground and enjoyed smelling and grabbing flowers.

I don't ordinarily pass along various funny postings that I find on the web and I haven't done it in this blog at all. However, the illustrations of Baby Instructions seem too funny to keep to myself.

Lillian got stopped for speeding.

Skipping the fork

Lillian has been able to use a spoon (to feed herself) for some time now. While the fork has eluded her at the moment, she tried her hand at chop-sticks when we went out for sushi.

Corn

Part of the fun when one goes out to eat is in choosing your meal. To see the global picture of her options, Lillian surrounded herself with menus at "Mania", but in the end decided on a simple bowl of steamed corn.

Complicated Concepts

On our way to have crepes, Latham explained "shadows" to Lillian.

In Style

Nana and Osik visited us this weekend. They brought Lillian a beautiful ceramic tea set and a couple of books.
