Lillian is almost walking. She is cautiously taking steps here and there and delights in standing while playing peekaboo through the curtains.

Nana, Osik, and Anna visited us this weekend; and Lillian received a new instrument - just her size.

My parents used to make me cream of wheat cereal (sweet) and decorate it with fruit and jam. Today's breakfast's cream of wheat was topped with sprinkles.

After daycare, the three of us went out to Jadhpore Club Indian Restaurant. Lillian loved her spicy soup and Tandoori Chicken.

Morning routine

In case you were wondering, our morning routine today entailed: getting dressed, eating Cheerios (from the yellow fish container), drinking milk (from the sippy cup), checking email (Lillian), playing the piano (also Lillian) , drawing (Lillian again), and making bran muffins (me).
"Oy vey!" was Lillian's reaction when she reflected on how much she accomplished before daycare.

While we were out buying some supplies to make Valentine's cards, we also picked up these bug glasses.

Today was sunny and warm. The water in the pool was heavenly. And Lillian enjoyed being dunked a couple of times.

getting sick

Lillian had to stay home from daycare for most of the week. 75% of the infants at her daycare (Lillian included) have developed Norwalk virus. But Lillian has been in great spirits since she's been able to complain to her favorite toys (especially this little raccoon).
