On Friday mornings, Lillian and I try to get to school early to have some time to take out books from the school library.

We hung out at the mall this evening (shopping for new Bruce Clan attire). 

On the first day of Fall ...

We had a wonderful play-date with Sophie today. 
We went to the Fall Fair at Boulevard Club and enjoyed a pony ride, petting goats, and the splash pad.

We saw a baby bee being born!  (And then I got stung by one).

Chef Bob pretended to make mayo out of Lillian and Sami.

Lillian helped clean apples and make cider.

We watched knights fight and Lill got to swing one of their swords.

She climbed to the top of the castle and even wanted to jump off the roof.

This week, at school, the unit of inquiry is "Celebration".  Their homework for this weekend was to write down what they celebrate.  The girls will be discussing what, why, and how people around the world celebrate.

Today was a day filled with lots of art activities:

We spent most of the day at the AGO.  First, we saw the Ai Weiwei show.

And then we played at the Weston Family creative center.

Recently, Lillian has decided that witches are awesome.  She had me make a long black skirt for her yesterday.

On the second day of school, Lillian was back on top.

First Day of Senior Kindergarten

Lillian chose her hair style for today.

The first thing that she did this morning at school was decorate her name tag.

This evening, Lillian spent some extra time in the tub, making herself extra clean for tomorrow - the first day of Senior Kindergarten.

We can't believe that the summer is over and school starts again tomorrow!
