Last night Lillian decided to do the dishes. She put on these 3D glasses and proceeded to wash all of her plastic bowls (which she then piled up next to the sink).

I continue to be impressed by Lillian's dexterity. Here, she's doing her own nails.

Lillian loves books, and even though she can't read yet, she enjoys pretending to do so.

Lights on shoes

A couple of days ago we lost Lillian's sneakers on the playground. The replacement sneakers are much more exciting though - they light up!

POTTY TRAINED!

We spent the weekend successfully potty training.
That's right - good-bye diapers - hello underwear!!

Recently, Lillian has been interested in wearing adhesive jewels ... on her forehead.

We're OK

After a mishap at the playground, we visited the ER to make sure that nothing was broken.
And we're glad to announce that all of Lillian's parts are intact.
While we waited for the doctors, Latham entertained everyone by hanging spoons on his face.

Yesterday, I made sugar cookies and we decorated many by painting them with frosting. As usual, though, it soon degenerated into painting ourselves.

Lillian is home sick today, but yesterday she dazzled in her tie-dye number.

Lillian and I were marveling at the variety of grain and pasta at home (pictured: whole wheat spaghetti, couscous, quinoa, sticky rice) and couldn't help making some art out of it.
