Pretend play

Yesterday, we pretended that we were witches from the Wizard of Oz.  Lillian was Glinda.  Those little red feet, sticking out from under her mattress, are the feet of the crushed Wicked Witch of the East.












After the bath, Lillian wanted to play "restaurant." 
She decided that she was a
"pirate - ballet dancer - waitress". 
Here she is taking my order.

The Fabulous Four

Today was the last day of birthday festivities that have delighted and exhausted us this past week.
Thank you to all of our friends for your love and generosity and thank you to our families for your pure and unadulterated awesomeness!!!

What a difference a day makes

Yup, that's our Lillian juggling eggs at home.  The cast is off.  There is no fracture.  She has a very very slight limp.
As the Russians say, "Do svadbyi zazshivyiot."

Later ... on birthday night

Yup, that's our birthday girl sleeping, exhausted, in the ER after she got a plaster cast for what we thought was a broken ankle.
