On our way back from Cleveland, we stopped at Applebee's for veggie burgers and coloring.

Great grandma

We spent the American Thanksgiving in Cleveland. Lillian went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Cleveland Art Museum, ate turkey and stuffing, and visited her great grandma Frida. Frida's eye sight is quite poor and she uses a magnifying glass to look at finer details. Lillian wanted to try it out as well.

Canada's Next Top Model (The Friendly Toreador)

While modeling her Flame Robeez (shoes for early walkers), Lillian also unveiled a new look -- "The Friendly Toreador."

For dinner, Lillian had chicken soup, sauteed mushrooms and onions, banana loaf with cream cheese, 20 cheerios, and a mum-mum.

Lillian - a year ago today.

Going home

On the days when both, Latham and I, pick up Lillian from daycare, to her great delight, she gets carried (rather than strolled) home.

Lillian received an amazing work of art from her friend, Anya. Thank you so much, Anya, for such beautiful work. Lillian was fascinated both by the painting and the paper. She intently admired the work and made a few attempts to eat it.

Even though Lillian will be turning one this week, she still has a hard time differentiating between bowls and hats.

With sweater-weather days like today, November appears to be a great month for afternoon naps in the park.

Morning exercises

It just seemed somehow appropriate to put on Addidas pants and a Cleveland Indians baseball cap to do our morning stretches.

Pizza run

Today was picture day at Life-Bridge (Lillian's daycare). Lillian wore her new knit dress and knit shoes.

In the afternoon, Lillian got her H1N1 vaccine.

To cap off a busy day, we went to Panago to have a family pizza dinner. Lillian practiced her moon-walk while we waited.

Food for Thought

It seems that some find the explanation of what a turducken is quite amusing.

Socks!

In the mornings, after we put our socks on, Lillian and I like to take a moment to recline on the couch and admire our work.

2 teeth

I was finally able to get a photograph of Lillian's bottom front two teeth. She was extremely obliging - mostly because we are still recovering from the tremendous fun we had at our slumber party last night.
