puddles

What is it about mud that attracts us so much: the texture, the "becha becha" sound of walking through it, the stickiness?

Impala-Do

We became members of the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM - rhymes with "Tom"). This is Toronto's natural history museum. We are looking forward to more trips to see dinosaur bones, fossils, bee hives, and other treasures there.
(note: hair style inspired by impalas)

Busy morning

This morning has already been very busy for us.
Lillian and I had breakfast and watched a couple of videos about Caillou's trip to the fire-station (in preparation for later today). We visited Lillian's favorite fountain and had yogurt at Starbucks. We went to the playground and buried each other in the sand.
Later this afternoon, Lillian's toddler group is going on a field trip to the local fire-station and then we'll be welcoming Anna (as she arrives to visit us).

YMCA

At the Learning Center this afternoon, after we saw the Toronto Pride Parade and had tea at Indigo, Lillian pretended to snuggle a naked baby.

peek a boo

As a parting gift, Lillian's infant group teachers gave us a scrap-book of her experiences over this past year. This was the last photo in the book.

NOT AN INFANT ANY MORE

It is an end of an era ...

Lillian has moved up to the toddler group.
June 30th was her last day as an infant.
But it is also the beginning ...
... of mischief ?
