Best Friday ever!

Lillian had a play-date at Trinity's house after school!
They played what I thought might be siamese turtles.  That's the two of them, under the blanket, pretending to be "a turtle" and crawling around.  It was genius!

And then they had snack and bakes AMAZING gingerbread cookies.

Family dance

Thank you so much, Anna and Peter, for taking Lillian to see The Lego Movie.  And thank you also for an absolutely delightful evening of dancing.

Robot

We stayed in the Science Center until it closed yesterday.  The staff there know us already and they let Lillian play with one of the ball-robots on display.  Lillian is controlling the ball with the iPad that's in her hands.

New member of the family

This week, we acquired a new family member - her name is Buddina and she is a life-size skeleton who will now live with us.  To help her adjust, Lillian gave her a haircut and eyes.

Obstacle course

While Latham was away teaching, Lillian and I had a some unorthodox fun at home.  For example, we had an "underwear obstacle course."  I taped Lillian's underwear to the walls and she had to climb over furniture and collect the underwear.  It was so much fun, you should all try it.

Breakfast

I made such a good breakfast today that Lillian insisted on eating it with her eyes closed with delight.

Another use for meatballs

Lillian accidentally bonked herself on the head with a golf club.  We didn't have any ice, so we improvised and used frozen meatballs instead.  Lill's idea.

Superbowl Sunday

We went over to Anna and Peter's place to watch the Superbowl.

They made a tremendous feast!

Science Sunday

While no one was looking, I let Lillian climb into one of the displays.  Awesome!

The Science centre has a huge section of pretend grocery stores and diners.

And then Lillian made paper.

And afterwards, we frolicked in the snow.
