Late night swim
We couldn't resist an after dinner swim. So, at around 7:30, we threw caution to the wind and threw Lillian in the air.
Taking advantage of fall weather
Lillian and I went back to the beach this morning to play some badminton ...
... and to look at really tiny shells with a magnifying glass.
We also saw "Finding Nemo 3D" in the movie theater. I highly recommend it. We gave it 4 thumbs up.

Kite Festival
Saturday was Toronto Kite Festival at the Beaches. We, of course, attended and enjoyed a sunny afternoon.
Lillian was exhausted by the end of the evening.

Getting ready
On September 12th, the illustration company that I work for, celebrated its 20th birthday. We had a fantastic party. Even Lillian got to invite her best friend, Emilia, to the event. They got ready together and played until very late.

Riverdale farm
This weekend we paid a visit to Riverdale Farm where we fed a sheep ...
... climbed trees ...
... pretended to be a sleeping tree fairy ...
... and built nests for imaginary birds.

On the second day
On the second day of school there was a school-wide party.
Lillian showed Latham what she learned on the first day at the playground.
Lillian and her new JK friend, Aija (pronounced AH-ya), enjoyed the inflatable slides the most. (NB: Lillian is wearing a "mermaid" dress that we made together about a month ago - thanks for the fabric, Nana!)

First Day at BH
As promised, here are a few more photos of Lillian's first day at Branksome Hall.
She put on her shoes in the closet.
For reasons still unknown, Lillian decided that she needed to wear these pretend glasses to school. Where do they get these ideas? (We were eventually able to convince her to leave them at home).
There was some mandatory nose picking on the car ride to school. (Thanks for "lending" me your scarf, Anna)
She is so small
She thinks though that she is so big
