Post bath checkers

We played checkers all evening yesterday (when we were not playing Snaps) and when Lill woke up, we played some more checkers and were almost late for school.

This is a glass walkway at the Science Centre. It changes colors as you pass through it.

the science centre is AWESOME!

We spent the ENTIRE day at the Science Centre - we did EVERYTHING.
Big bird was there, and he was much shorter than we expected.

We ran through a dark cave 17 times.

We learned a ton about electricity.

We discovered an indoor rain forest (it really rained on us!).

We touched a Van de Graaff generator.  It was a hair raising experience.

We visited Elmo on Sesame Street.

And Lillian created a twister with her hands.

When we practice math with Lillian, we use an abacus and a dry-erase board.

Science Saturday

This weekend we went to the Science Centre and visited some of the previously unexplored areas such as: the tween skeletons, the juke box room, and the climbing wall.

Love letters

Recently, I invented a new breakfast menu item: pretzels in bananas.  It's both, delicious and educational.

Let the parties begin

Today Lillian had a fantastic time at Elyse's birthday party at Skyzone (a trampoline gym). Lill's favorite part was attempting to do flips into the foam pit.

Science and Art

Today, we built a snap circuit with a motor and fan,

as well as one with a light.

We grew red and purple crystals in a test tube and will see what happens if you put them together and keep them overnight.

We sewed a flower cape for Lillian's doll, Jessie.

And we made a deliciously amazing, four layer, cake.

After dinner (butter chicken and multigrain chips), Lillian said, "This was a great day, lets do it again tomorrow."
