HALLOWEEN

October 31st. was terribly cold and rainy.  But we enjoyed trick-or-treating with friends and drinking home-made hot chocolate!!!

This year, for Halloween, Lillian decided to go as the "Vampire Queen."

David Bowie at the AGO

The AGO had a wonderful Sunday Family Day.  The theme was Halloween and David Bowie.  Lill and I had a play date there with Elyse and Caroline.  (Are you seeing double?)

Emilia had a great pumpkin carving party.  We tried to do an elaborate Cinderella design, but ended up with a toothy smile instead.

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving

We are thankful this year to have family in Canada.  Anna and Peter hosted everyone's first totally awesome Canadian Thanksgiving.

Homework

Every weekend, Lillian's homework is to read three assigned books and write responses to them.  This weekend, she read a book titled, "Hello, Bingo!", about a girl named Sam who got a dog named Bingo.

After School Program

 Even when there is no school on weekdays, Branksome has all day babysitting.  Today, they went to High Park for the day.

Lill had her first piano lesson after school yesterday.  And then we stayed on the playground for another half hour to play.
